The exams are held every first week of June and December each year.</p><p>3.3 Association of Business Executives</p><p>The Association of Business Executives (ABE) provides flexible professional business qualifications which can lead to university or help in developing your career.</p><p>ABE offers Diplomas in Business Management (with additional pathways in Financial Management and Management of Information Systems), Business Start-up and Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management and Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management.</p><p>At ICE, we offer the following ABE qualifications</p><p>3.3.1 Business Management (Level 4 to Level 7) The Business Management programme, which is accredited by Ofqual, is a comprehensive and detailed programme which covers the knowledge and skills required in modern business practice. The programme will provide you with an appreciation of the theoretical issues involved in the study of business whilst also helping you to develop a range of practical skills which will enhance your value to employers. Major topics covered in the Business Management programme include management, marketing, economics and accounting.</p><p>3.3.2 Managing Information Systems (Level 4 to Level 7) Information is crucial to running a successful business. Technology now provides a range of information systems, so a modern manager needs to understand the way they can be used to develop and control the business.</p><p>ABE now offer a Management of Information Systems pathway within the Business Management programme. The new pathway system allows greater flexibility for students, who now have the option to achieve additional qualifications. The Management of Information Systems pathway contains three levels of Ofqual accredited qualifications to improve your information management knowledge and skills.</p><p>Intakes</p><p>There are 2 intakes in a year; January, and July</p><p>Mode of Study</p><p>Evening classes from 5.30pm to 8.30pm 3.5 Certified Public Accountants And Accountating Technicians Certifcate Examinations - KASNEB 3.5.1 Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination</p><p>Only students registered with an accredited study centre are allowed to sit their examinations. The assessment, evaluation and certification are carried out by the Association of Business Executives (UK). The exams are held every first week of June and December each year.</p><p>The CPA examination is held twice yearly in June and December. The examination is divided into three parts of two sections each. Each section consists of three papers. A candidate may attempt two sections in a part together or separately in ascending order but before proceeding to the next part, a candidate must pass the lower part.</p><p>The examination is rigorous and standards are high and therefore a candidate is advised to devote approximately the equivalent of eighteen months of full time study for each part of the examination. Ideally therefore, a student should be able to complete the CPA examination in between four and a half and six years. Advanced Financial Reporting</p><p>3.5.2 Accounting Technician Certificate (ATC) Examination</p><p>The ATC examination is held twice yearly in June and December. The examination is divided into two levels each containing five papers, thus making a total of ten papers.</p><p>The examination serves two main purposes. Firstly, the ATC certificate provides a person with comprehensive and widely recognized qualification which enables the holder to perform functions in an accounting, auditing, business or public office. The program raises candidates’ level of ICT and computer skills and increases their level of competency in using personal computers and common computer applications. Consultancy</p><p>Unless written agreement is reached to the contrary, our fees are based on the number and seniority of staff required, the degree of skill and responsibility involved and the resources required to complete the engagement. Our charges will be reviewed from time to time. We will also charge for any disbursements incurred during the engagement and we will add VAT to charges if applicable. The proposed fee may be changed upon prior agreement with management. Any fee estimate agreed with you is necessarily based on the assumption that the information required for our work is made available in accordance with agreed timetables, and that key executives and personnel are available during the course of our work. If delays or other unanticipated problems which are beyond our control occur this may result in additional fees for which invoices will be raised upon prior discussion with management.
