Scholarships. These scholarships are funded with the proceeds from the Black & Blue Rodeo that will be held this year on Saturday May 6, 2017.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS 1. You must be a member in good standing with North Texas High School Rodeo Assoc. 2. You must be a senior in high school. 3. You must have competed in 18 NTHSRA rodeos your senior year. 4. You must have competed in NTHSRA at least 2 years.</p><p>CANDIDATES ARE JUDGED AS FOLLOWS: (Not Necessarily in This Order) 1. Scholastic Aptitude 2. NTHSRA Participation 3. Need 4. Interview 5. Preparation 6. Extra-Curricular Activities An anonymous committee will select scholarship recipients.</p><p>EACH APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE FOLLOWING:</p><p>1. A completed application 2. A personal resume 3. Two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals that know the candidate well 4. A current school transcript **1-4 must be adhered to. Failure to provide all documentation and submission by deadline will result in the applicant not being considered for a scholarship.
