Note that last minute requests are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. If your worshipping community wishes to use special or unique items in place of the standard Congress sacristy items, please note above. Incense may not be used as it carries the danger of disturbing fire alarms in the venues. Additionally, please be mindful of the liturgical season when planning sprinkling rites and other special rituals. Congress liturgies should model excellent parish worship. In this vein, please be attentive to the fact that a sprinkling rite is not a normative part of weekday liturgy.
