<p> PUBLIC NOTICE</p><p>Pursuant to 33 U.S.C. and M.G.L. c. 21 sect.43, notice is given of a 401-water quality certification application for “TISBURY - Pier Construction – Lake St. at Lake Tashmoo Town Pier”, which includes extending an existing Town pier, constructing a permanent bulkhead pier, constructing floating dingy docks, and dredging by the Town of Tisbury, 51 Spring St, P.O. Box 1239 Tisbury, MA. Additional information may be obtained from Stephen Berlucchi, P.E. - Dukes County Engineer at P.O. Box 190 Edgartown, MA 02539, Telephone 508-696-3843. Written comments should be sent to: DEP-DWW, 1 Winter St. Boston, MA 02108 within twenty-one days of this notice. Any group of ten persons, any aggrieved person, or any governmental body or private organization with a mandate to protect the environment that submits written comments may appeal the Department’s Certification. Failure to submit written comments before the end of the public comment period may result in the waiver of any right to an ad judicatory hearing. </p>
