<p>Laser Transport Alignment Procedure</p><p>1.Check alignment in preamp and main amp (Corde or Litos should be present).</p><p>2.Follow LSS SOP to prepare for laser through transport.</p><p>3.Increase delay on SRS delay generator by 70ns to attenuate laser power.</p><p>4.Remove safety attenuator, and remove first waveplate (leave second waveplate installed).</p><p>5.Align laser into irises on laser table at input of transport.</p><p>6.Check actual laser power is <20mJ.</p><p>7.Call MCC and ensure no e-beam is present in Sector 20.</p><p>8.Insert gold mirror, confirm position with camera.</p><p>9.Open safety shutters to transport.</p><p>10.Align laser through transport from B1 to B6. Rotate waveplate from 203 (nominal) to 248 to increase visibility on different bends. Make sure beam is centered on every bend except B6. Especially important to be centered on B4 and B5. Align B6 slightly high and to the right on the camera according to the reference image from 6/23 found in the Laser Documents folder on the laser room PC desktop.</p><p>11.Remove waveplate.</p><p>12.Install glass ND filters. Use OD 8.0. Be careful not to break them!</p><p>13.Remove gold mirror and use B5 to roughly center laser on the rail camera profile monitor.</p><p>14.Optimize the quality of the Bessel profile using B5.</p><p>15.Insert gold mirror and IPOTR2 foil.</p><p>16.Use B6 to align laser to e-beam reference position on IPOTR2.</p><p>17.Insert IPOTR1.</p><p>18.Use 5-axis stage Y for vertical adjustment and 3-axis stage Z for horizontal adjustment to align laser to e-beam reference position on IPOTR1. 19.Remove IPOTR1 and use gold mirror to align laser to e-beam reference position on IPOTR2.</p><p>20.Repeat steps 17-19.</p><p>21.Remove IPOTR1 and IPOTR2.</p><p>22.Close safety shutter to transport.</p><p>23.Remove gold mirror.</p>
