<p> Corpus Christi Cross-County Training Schedule Week 9 & 10: 11/3/14 – 11/10/14 Which level should I run? th th Level A: 6 – 8 grades, well conditioned athlete, has experience running, plays sport th th rd th Level B: 6 – 8 grades, no experience with sports or running; 3 – 5 grades, plays sports, little to medium conditioning </p><p>Week 9: Team Conditioning </p><p>Monday, 11/3: Partnered or Individual Workout Level A: 20 minute run, roughly 3 miles; stretch Level B: 15 minute run, roughly 2 miles; stretch</p><p>Tuesday, 11/4: Practice At School 3:05 – 4:00 (Speed Relay Workout) Level A: 1-mile warm-up jog; stretch; 5 – 7 x 100 Relay striders (80 – 100%) Level B: 10 minute run warm-up jog, stretch; 4 – 6 x 100 Relay striders (80 – 100%)</p><p>Wednesday, 11/5: Active Recovery Day All Levels: Light Jog (1 – 2 miles), Yoga, Walk, etc.</p><p>Thursday, 11/6: Practice At School 3:05 – 4:00 (Distances Workout) Level A: 1-mile warm up; Stretch; 30 minute Team Fartlek run, roughly 3 – 4 miles Level B: 10 minute run, Stretch; 30 minute Team Fartlek run, roughly 2 – 3 miles </p><p>Friday, 11/7: Partnered or Individual Workout Level A: 20 minute run, roughly 2 – 3 miles; stretch Level B: 15 minute run, roughly 1 – 2 miles; stretch </p><p>Saturday, 11/8: Rest Day All Levels: Day of rest</p><p>Sunday, 11/9: Individual Stretch Level A: 1-mile warm up; Stretch Level B: 10 minute run; Stretch </p><p>Week 10: Meet Week </p><p>Sunday, 11/9: Individual Stretch All Levels: Light Jog (1 – 2 miles), Yoga, Walk, etc.</p><p>Tuesday, 11/11: CYO Championship Cross Country Meet </p><p>*Striders: 100 yard sprints at roughly 85% full speed; 1 minute recovery time in between **Stretch: Standing and Sitting stretches along with Dynamic Stretches (ex. high knees) ****All level runners are highly encouraged to run with training partners.</p>
