<p> IT’S TIME FOR 21ST CENTURY SUMMER PROGRAMMING</p><p>1. WHERE WILL 21ST CENTURY PROGRAMMING TAKE PLACE</p><p>☐ Both the Elementary and the Middle School Programs will be housed in Wayne County Middle School. ☐ Programming begins on June 16th for week one, June 23rd for week two, June 30th for week three and July 7th for week four. ☐ Students need to be dropped off at the front of the Wayne County Middle School between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM ☐ Breakfast will be served at no cost to your child each morning from 8:00 AM until 8:30 AM ☐ Lunch will be served daily at no cost to your child from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM ☐ Daily timeframe for elementary students (grades 3 through 5) will be from 8:00 AM until 1:30 PM Daily timeframe for middle school students (grades 6-8) will be from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM ☐ Daily pick up will be in the office at Wayne County Middle School for elementary students beginning at 1:30 PM Daily Pick up will be at the Aspire Center for middle school students beginning at 2:30 PM.</p><p>2. WHAT WILL WE BE DOING </p><p>☐ Elementary students will take field trips to the public library, historical museum, Nancy Civil War Battlefield, Louisville Humane Society and Louisville Science Center. ☐ Middle school students will visit many businesses for insight into career paths, they will take field trips to Somerset Community College, Somerset Vocational Technical School, Kentucky Aviation Museum </p><p>☐ Elementary students will focus on literacy and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) ☐ Middle school students will focus on college career readiness and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).</p><p>3. HOW DO I SIGN UP</p><p>☐ Complete registration form and turn into the office at Wayne County Middle School ☐ Come to the Summer Programming Open House Tuesday, May 20th from 4:00PM until 6:00 PM to register or get more information concerning the summer programming. ☐ Camps are limited to the first 50 participants, so complete registration forms, attend the open house or call Katherine Kidd at Wayne County Middle School at 348-6691 for more information. ☐ You may pick up registration forms and detailed schedule of activities by dropping by the middle school and asking for one in the front office.</p>
