Responsibilities</p><p>In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing and customer delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.</p><p>This includes:  Prepare and maintain production schedules to satisfy sales forecast, inventory targets and labor plans.  Prepare and maintain manufacturing and purchase orders.  Analyze MRP and daily inventory reports and take corrective action where required.  Interact with suppliers to ensure production needs are met.  Support lean manufacturing initiatives.  Provide opportunity for cost and inventory savings.  Implement product change orders. Qualifications </p><p>Candidates for this position must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:</p><p> Bachelor degree preferred - Associate degree required in business or related field and 2 to 5 years relevant experience.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as daily reports, MRP reports, master schedule, purchase orders, and manufacturing orders.  Strong analytical skills.  Ability to identify and resolve problems necessary to provide the necessary materials to the plants.  Strong math aptitude.  Ability to coordinate and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.  Computer knowledge with Word and proficient Excel skills essential.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  APICS certification preferred. </p><p>Company website: www.aprilaire.com</p><p>Apply on-line at: https://careers-aprilaire.icims.com/jobs/1151/materials-analyst/job </p>
