Price called the Wernersville Borough Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm. All stood and pledged Allegiance to the Flag.</p><p>Motion made by J. Swartz to approve the minutes from the September 7, 2016 meeting. J. Pierce seconded and carried unanimously.</p><p>Western Berks Fire Company: A written report was submitted.</p><p>Western Berks Ambulance: None.</p><p>Engineer Report: None.</p><p>Zoning and Building Enforcement Report: A written report was submitted. October 5, 2016 Page 2</p><p>Police Chief Report: A written report was submitted.</p><p>HALLOWEEN PARADE: The Halloween Parade will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 7:30 pm. TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT: Trick or Treat will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 6 to 9 pm.</p><p>Council’s Oral Report:</p><p>Solicitor’s Report: None.</p><p>Unfinished Business: None. New Business:</p><p>MMO: Motion made by B. Clements to approve the 2017 MMO for the Non Uniform Employee Pension in the amount of $18,485.00. R. Fischer seconded and carried unanimously.</p><p>SHREDDING EVENT: Motion made by R. Fischer to participate in the Shredding Event to be held at BB&T Bank, Robesonia, on Saturday October 29, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm. J. Pierce seconded and carried unanimously.</p><p>RECYCLE COACH APP: Motion made R. Gordon to purchase the Recycle Coach App for $450.00 through the County which can be downloaded to our website. Residents can download the app to their phones for trash/recycle info and other updates in the Borough. B. Clements seconded and carried unanimously.</p><p>WESTERN BERKS AMBULANCE: Motion made by R. Fischer to approve adding an ambulance tax of $30 per property tax bill. We have 935 taxable properties. We will give the Ambulance $28,050 in 3 installments beginning in 2017. All residents of the Borough and Businesses in the Borough will be covered by the WBAA. J. Swartz seconded and carried unanimously.</p><p>Next Meeting: Wednesday, October 5, at 7:00 pm. </p><p>Monthly Bills : Motion made by J. Swartz to approve bill list and bills previously paid to avoid penalty. R. Fischer seconded and carried unanimously. Balance Sheet: Motion made by J. Swartz to accept the Balance Sheet. R.
