The monthly magazine announced the winners this week. Baltimore magazine began the dental section as an extension of popular “Best of Baltimore” awards back in 2002. Towson Periodontal Associates’ doctors James Kassolis, Kathryn Mutzig and Thomas Daley have received the honor several times before. The award is special this year because of the outstanding growth the practice has shown. Since receiving the 2014 honor, the practice has grown to include yet another periodontist, Dr. Keyla Torres. Baltimore Magazine “surveyed more than 2,000 dentists in Baltimore and the five surrounding counties over the course of several months,” to develop the comprehensive list including all dental specialties. “I believe the award is another vote of confidence and show of appreciation from our referring dentists.
