<p> Job Description Senior Administration Manager</p><p>About CNFA CNFA is a not-for-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. dedicated to stimulating sustainable growth in the agricultural sector. CNFA specializes in fostering private sector investments in training, new technologies and marketing as a means to increase the overall competitiveness of agricultural value chains, expand exports and develop skills in the rural workforce. By generating higher incomes for farmers, processors, entrepreneurs and distributors, CNFA helps improve livelihoods and reduce poverty.</p><p>The objective of the proposed Yeshiwogen Project is to develop locally acceptable dietary diversification methods for the refugee and host communities in the Northern Tigray Region of Ethiopia for the U.S. State Department Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM). The main goal is to bring long-term changes in the targeted Woredas regarding the consumption of high-nutritional food by analyzing gaps in the current access to and utilization of food systems in the targeted Woredas. </p><p>Position Description</p><p>Working under the direct supervision of the Chief of Party, the Senior Administration Manager will be responsible for supporting the program's overall administration functions including human resources management, project asset and inventory management, transportation and vehicles management, management of international visitors' logistics, relationship building with project goods and services vendors, and general office administration. The key function of this position is to oversee the proper implementation of the internal Standard Operating Procedures and Systems across project operations.</p><p>Job location </p><p>Personnel must be willing to live in Shire Endasillasie, in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia.</p><p>Major Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>The main duties of the Senior Administration Manager are to:</p><p>• Maintain personnel files and ensure completeness; • Manage the full long term and short term personnel recruitment cycle; • Manage employees’ insurance and project asset coverage cycle; • Manage program administration trackers such as vendor service agreement expiration, monthly employee head count, short-term consultants LOE, etc.; • Provide expert interpretation of the program's field personnel manual and Ethiopian labor law (to the best ability possible or, to seek a legal opinion); • Maintain program calendar for events and activities and provide support for vendor recruitment; • Lead administration aspects of events and workshops including hotel booking, and facilities; • Coordinate project personnel travel logistics requests; • Oversee monitoring of Project vehicle’s Global Positioning Systems; • Conduct monthly vehicle log analysis and provide updates to the project management team; • Manage vehicles periodic maintenance and inspections; • Maintain project assets inventory and assets log; • Oversee inventories stock card and manage project office supplies and procurement orders;  Provide all in-country logistic support for international visitors including consultants; • Facilitate visas procurement for international travels as required; and • Other duties as required by Chief of Party.</p><p>Qualifications/Requirements</p><p>• Minimum of Bachelors' degree required in business administration, supply chain management, or other relevant field; • Minimum of seven years’ work experience in relevant responsibilities, • Previous experience in USAID or other donor-funded programs is a strong advantage; • Strong interpersonal, communications, and leadership skills, especially in dealing with those from other countries; • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details; and • Fluency in English and fluency in Amharic is required, fluency in Tigrigna is strongly preferred</p>
