<p>CER-NGER-TRNSPT FORM V1.0 02/06/2016 National transport facility nomination under regulation 2.19A of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Regulations 2008Purpose of this formThis form allows a person (the nominee) to nominate to have their state or territory based transport facilities defined as a single national transport facility for the purposes of reporting under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) scheme and managing its obligations under the safeguard mechanism. Up until 30 June 2016, transport businesses were reported on an individual state or territory facility basis, under the NGER scheme. From 1 July 2016, a person who operates an interstate transport business and reports on an individual state or territory transport facility basis under the NGER scheme can nominate to report as a single national transport facility.EligibilityTo be eligible to nominate to have state or territory based transport facilities defined as a national transport facility the following criteria must be met:the nominee must have operational control over each state/territory based facility included in the nomination formeach state or territory based facility must be in the same transport industry sector, andthe nominee’s controlling corporation (if the nominee is not the controlling corporation) must consent to the nominee making the nomination</p>
