<p> 03 June 2018 Our Ref: CP ENQ </p><p>Dear Coach Operator,</p><p>Gateshead Quays Advanced Coach Parking Service</p><p>Thank you for your interest in Gateshead Quays Advanced Coach Parking Service, which offers tour operators a reserved coach parking space for £10.00 per coach Per Day.</p><p>With easy access from both the A1 and A19, the coach park is located next to The Sage Gateshead (please see map enclosed), providing coach parties with easy access to all the major attractions on Gateshead Quays including the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and Gateshead Millennium Bridge, which provides access to attractions and places if interest on Newcastle Quayside at just an easy walking distance.</p><p>Gateshead Quays is also within easy reach of other attractions and places of interest, including MetroCentre (Europe’s biggest indoor shopping complex), Beamish Museum, Hadrian’s Wall, Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland and South Tyneside. This makes it an ideal place to base your party for overnight stays and short breaks.</p><p>If visiting over lunch or dinner time, a list of venues are available on www.visitnewcastlegateshead.com. The list is not based on recommendation, but for guidance only and parties/groups are advised to pre-book with venues before their arrival. It is the responsibility of coach parties and tour operators for any arrangements made with individual establishments.</p><p>Accommodation which is quality inspected by either the AA, RAC or VB is also available on the www.visitnewcastlegateshead.com or a NewcastleGateshead Visitor Guide containing a full list can be obtained by contacting Gateshead Tourist Information, telephone 0191 4784222.</p><p>If you are interested in making an advance booking, availability for coach parking space can be checked by telephoning Parking Services on 0191 433 3143. Once availability has been confirmed all requests for a coach parking space made by telephone will be regarded as provisional until receipt of a completed official booking form and payment. Carefully read the terms and conditions of the advanced coach parking service before completing a booking form (one per coach). You can pay for your coach parking either by credit card or cheque. Those wishing to book a coach parking space can check availability by contacting Parking Services, telephone 0191 433 3143 before completing the official booking form.</p><p>2. All requests for a coach park space made by telephone will be regarded as provisional until a completed official booking form and payment is received. Confirmation of booking and receipt of payment will then be issued. </p><p>3. The £10 charge for the coach parking space entitles one coach to parking for up to one day as stated on the completed booking form. </p><p>4. Even though the £10 payment entitles one coach to parking per day, it will be the arrival and leaving times provided on the booking form, which will be expected to be adhered to.</p><p>5. Any amendments/cancellations must be forwarded to the Gateshead Visitor Centre by telephone and then in writing at the earliest opportunity and any payment is non-refundable.</p><p>6. The operation of the coach parking is a facility managed by Gateshead Council. The service is subject to availability of staff and is operated on a first come first served basis.</p><p>7. While every effort will be made to honour official bookings, the Council cannot be held responsible for any liability, loss or damage arising from any withdrawal of the service for any reason whatsoever. In the event of cancellations as much notice as possible will be given.</p><p>9. The service is operated at the sole discretion of Gateshead Council and the Council reserves the right to alter terms and conditions of any booking. In such cases the tour/coach operator will be consulted at the earliest opportunity.</p><p>10.Submission of the booking form signifies acceptance of all the above terms and conditions attached.
