<p> Upper Tyrone Township Supervisors Regular Meeting January 3, 2017</p><p>Meeting was called to order immediately following the Reorganization Meeting.</p><p>Mr. Beranek motioned to approve the December 13, 2016 Regular meeting minutes as written. Mr. Edwards seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Edwards, yes, Mr. Cook, yes, Mr. Beranek, yes. Motion accepted.</p><p>Treasurers Report as of 01/03/2017:</p><p>(See Attached Balance Sheet)</p><p>Mr. Beranek motioned to approve the treasurer’s report. Mr. Edwards seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Edwards, yes, Mr. Beranek, yes, Mr. Cook, yes. Motion accepted.</p><p>Public Comment:</p><p>Tom Seaman Owner of Seaman Wholesale discussed the proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation & Pharmaceutical Facility to be located at the current Seaman Wholesale property located in Upper Tyrone Township. Mr. Seaman along with partners Akeso Solutions, LLC are requesting a letter of support from the Township Supervisors for the proposed project at the facility.</p><p>Motion to Pay Bills:</p><p>Mr. Edwards motioned to pay the bills for the month of January 2017. Mr. Beranek seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Edwards, yes, Mr. Cook, yes, Mr. Beranek, yes. Motion accepted.</p><p>Unfinished Business:</p><p>Mr. Edwards motioned to appoint a certified or competent public accountant or a firm of certified or co certified or competent public accountants, either of which shall be registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to make an examination of all accounts of the Township for FY 2016. Mr. Beranek seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Cook, yes, Mr. Edwards, yes, Mr. Beranek, yes. Motion accepted.</p><p>Reports of Officials: None</p><p>Solicitors Report: None</p><p>1 Engineers Report: </p><p>Mr. Utzman stated that they are still working on the MS4 Report to be submitted. Hoping the Township will still remain a waiver community. </p><p>New Business:</p><p>Mr. Beranek motioned to direct the Solicitor to prepare a letter of support to Tom Seaman and Akeso Solutions, LLC for the proposed Medical Cannabis Cultivation & pharmaceutical Facility in Upper Tyrone Township. Mr. Edwards seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Beranek, yes, Mr. Cook, yes, Mr. Edwards, yes. Motion accepted.</p><p>Mr. Beranek motioned to host a Fayette County Association of Township Supervisors monthly meeting here at the Township Municipal Building when needed. Mr. Edwards seconded the motion. Vote – Mr. Cook, yes, Mr. Edwards, yes, Mr. Beranek, yes.
