<p>To: Closing Guests, Kairos of Fluvanna April 10, 2106 From: April Moore, Kairos Liaison Re: Requirements</p><p>The Kairos Community would first like to thank you for considering attending a Closing Ceremony for a Kairos weekend. We can’t tell you how much your support of the ladies on the inside means. For most, it will be the first time they realize that there are people on the outside who truly love and care for them. </p><p>Please read the requirements below as you prepare for your visit to Fluvanna:</p><p>FCCW requires that all closing guests provide documentation of their familiarity with PREA (the Prison Rape Elimination Act) which is attached. An Acknowledgement Form is attached as well. A Volunteer Form is also required for closing guests to sign. Therefore, I need to receive three pieces of information from every closing guest no later than March 27:</p><p> Your name as it appears on your driver’s license with date of birth</p><p> Your signed PREA Acknowledgement Form</p><p> Your signed Volunteer Form</p><p>These may be mailed to my address below, but please allow enough time for me to receive it by the deadline. You may also sign and return to me electronically. My e-mail address is also below.</p><p>Dress – “Business casual,” do not wear denim of any color, no T-shirts with logos or writing, no flip-flops (sandals & other open-toed shoes are permitted). New requirement – if you have artificial joints or any metal plates, screws, etc. implanted which may set off the facility’s metal detector, need the use of a cane, walker or walking sticks or any other type of medical device, you must provide a letter from your physician to document this need. Bring this documentation with you to the Closing.</p><p>To bring: your driver’s license, no purses, medical documentation if applicable.</p><p>Please plan to arrive no later than 12:00.
