<p> ANEFO Scholarship Award</p><p>The Association of New England Football Officials is pleased to announce the awarding of two scholarships annually to a child or step child of an Active Member in good standing of ANEFO.</p><p>The scholarships are intended to provide financial assistance to students entering their first year of college, a post graduate year or students presently attending a college or university.</p><p>A scholarship will be awarded to one son and one to a daughter of an active ANEFO member.</p><p>The recipient in each category will be chosen randomly in two separate lotteries.</p><p>Previous ANEFO scholarship award recipients are not eligible.</p><p>Only those who plan to be enrolled in the ensuing fall semester are eligible.</p><p>It is the expectation of ANEFO that the applicant be in good standing with their present academic institution.</p><p>CRITERIA All applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:</p><p>Be a dependent of an active member in good standing of ANEFO, and one of the following:</p><p> A high school senior who will be continuing their education at an undergraduate college or university, junior college, vocational or technical college. </p><p> A high school senior who will be continuing their education in a post graduate year. </p><p> A post secondary student attending an undergraduate college or university, junior college, vocational or technical college. </p><p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE</p><p> The application is found on the ANEFO website and can be submitted electronically, by email, to Bob Prestera, ANEFO Secretary/Treasurer at [email protected] no later than the Sunday the day before the ANEFO Business meeting and/or by hard copy, in hand, to Bob Prestera at the ANEFO Business meeting.  Recipients of the scholarship will be required to provide proof of enrollment at an eligible post secondary institution prior to the funds being dispersed.
