This year’s Star American FFA Degree candidates representing Ohio at the National level are:</p><p>Star American Farmer – William Hughes, West Holmes Star American in Agribusiness – Shaun Wenrick, Anna Star American in Agricultural Placement – Austin Davis, North Union Star American in Agrisicence – Chrysta Beck, Pettisville</p><p>To honor this accomplishment, we will recognize these individuals on stage during the Second Session of the 89th Ohio FFA Convention. The Second Session will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 in the Celeste Center at the Ohio Expo Center. As a reminder, all students appearing on stage must wear official dress. A seat will be reserved for the Star American FFA Degree candidates for the Second Session on Thursday, May 4, 2017. A seating chart will be enclosed in your registration packet and convention volunteers will be on hand to assist them in finding their reserved seat locations. In June, Ohio’s Star American FFA Degree candidates will have their applications forwarded on to the National FFA Organization for national competition. Since you have your student’s application on file, please take a moment to update the application to ensure that it is free of errors and adheres to all rules and regulations. If you would like to see your scoresheets from State Evaluation email me and I can scan in and email to you.
