<p> Clark County Band Boosters</p><p>Meeting Date: October 24, 2016</p><p>Meeting Location: GRC Chorus Room</p><p>Minutes from Meeting held on September 26, 2016</p><p>1. Bylaws, presented by the Bylaws Committee, were read and approved, with the exception that “by mail” be removed from the last paragraph in order to better facilitate communication. A motion to accept new bylaws was made by Linda Rector, seconded by Crystal Hacker, and unanimously received. </p><p>2. Officers were formally received by unanimous vote:</p><p> i. President – Crystal Hacker</p><p> ii. Vice President – Mary Hackworth</p><p> iii. Secretary – Linda Rector</p><p> iv. Treasurer – Julie Crum</p><p>3. Upcoming Events/Fundraising</p><p>*Chords for Clark Oct 1 (Saturday) at Leeds Theater, 7:30 (Call time 5:30)</p><p>*Chili Supper &Fall Concert Nov 3 (Thursday) at GRC</p><p>-Chili Contest w/ Entertainment 5:30 in GRC cafeteria $5.00 (10 & under free) Winner of Chili Contest to receive a gift certificate.</p><p>-Fall Concert 7:30 in GRC Auditorium</p><p>*Baker Winter Concert Dec 1 at 7:00 (Benefit for Kristi Blackwell)</p><p>*RDC Winter Concert Dec 7 at 7:30</p><p>*GRC Combined Winter Concert Dec 9 at 7:00</p><p>4. Treasurer Business *Bank account will be opened with tax ID</p><p>*Kentucky Articles of Incorporation will be filed ($8.00 fee)</p><p>5. Communication</p><p>*Alert members to park in the back parking lot and use the Band Room double door to enter building for meetings. Have students create signs.</p><p>*Next meeting scheduled for October 24 at 6:30 in Chorus Room.</p><p>*Items to be discussed at next meeting include: List of needs/wants for our programs; recurring costs, wish list (ie: trips, concert attire).</p><p>Those present included: Linda Rector (Grace Rector), Mary Hackworth (Emma Hackworth), Stephanie Puckett (Baker Director), Amy Shoemaker (Natalie Shoemaker), Tammy Brooks (Jessica Brooks), Regina Oliver (Emily Oliver), Crystal Hacker (Whitney Hacker), Julie Crum (Willow Crum), and Kris Olson (GRC and RDC Director).</p>
