<p>Dear Parents,</p><p>To say that it was busy this past week, would be an understatement! We had Open House, vision testing, picture day, and our final MAP testing. Busy! I am very proud of how flexible our class was while all of these events took place. Our next round of MAP testing will take place in January.</p><p>Special shout out to all who attended Open House on Tuesday! I hope that you felt you got some quality information This is going to be a great year! Progress Report go home today, please do not be shocked when seeing “W’s”, it does not mean that your child is underperforming, it just means we do not have enough scores and information to make that determination as of yet. The comment section will provide you with Don’t Forget more details.  Please make sure to send in a small healthy snack each day M-Th. </p><p>Have a great weekend!  If you ordered Scholastic books, orders should be arriving by Monday or Tuesday. Students are learning to distinguish between defining attributes and to build new shapes to possess defining attributes.</p><p> Writing: We are still working on the mechanics of a good writer; capitalization, spacing, legibility, and punctuation.  Reading/Social Studies: Students are connections between new information being learning to explain in detail, and to ask learned. questions, about things that are going on in text.
