Just a reminder that the Boone County Talent contest will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 4p.m in the Beck’s Show Arena on the State Bank of Lizton Free Stage. The Talent Contest is open to any Boone County resident, not just 4-Her’s. There is no fee or cost to enter the Talent Contest. </p><p>Encourage your 4-Her’s to put together a talent for Saturdays show. Maybe they have a friend from school who is not in 4-H; they can do the talent together!! </p><p>There are two divisions: -Jr Division: 12 years or less of age -Sr. Division: 13-21 year of age (if you turn 13 years of age anytime during 2017 you must enter the Senior Division)</p><p>Categories include: Vocal Solo and group Novelty Solo and Group Dance Solo and group Tumbling (Free style only) Solo and Group Instrumental solo and group Clogging Solo and Group</p><p>Winners of the Boone County Contest will continue on to the Indiana State Fair to perform their talent. At the Indiana State Fair, overall winners in their category receive $100. There is a fee to enter the State Contest.</p><p>Go to the Boone County 4-H Fair webpage (http://boonecounty4h.org). Go to Events, click on July 22nd, select Talent Contest, and in the drop down will be the entry form and rules. </p><p>Entries must be turned into the Extension Office by Monday, July 17th. No entries will be accepted after this time.
