Byron Dengate</p><p>1.1 The South Coast Branch Representative team tour to the 2011 NSW Interbranch Championships at Redhead Beach a success. Athletes where a credit to the Branch, their clubs & Surf life saving. 1.2 Congratulations to the Sth Coast Branch Representative Team for winning the NSW Country Champions Trophy at the 2011 NSW Interbranch Championships. SCB Placed 6th overall. Excellent effort considering no boat crew representation at the Championships. Congratulations to Warilla SLSC competitors Hayden White & Kirsty Higgison 1.3 on gaining selection to the NSW SLSA Representative Team also to Ben Carbury for selection to the NSW U/23 Development Team Motion- Sth Coast Branch Surf Sports committee requesting SC Branch to support the 2012 Branch Team with $5000 contribution to partially cover expenses to attend 2012 NSW Interbranch Championships 1.4 Sth Coast Branch Surf Sports will run Development Training Days again in the 2012 off season. August and September look to be preferred months with dates to be confirmed and passed thru to the Branch. 1.5 Entry cost for Sth Coast Branch will remain unchanged from last year. Board of SS recommends that there be a late entry fee of $10 per competitor for the 2012 Sth Coast Branch Championships. Entries will close COB the Wednesday before Branch Championships. www.sportnswbranchs.slsa.com.au. Cost per competitor</p><p>If clubs do not know their clubs entry password please contact Byron Dengate 0458079292</p><p>1.6 Board of SS recommends the adoption of Officials & Water Safety personnel v’s competitor ratio. SCBof SS will adopt NSW SLSA criteria of 1:5. This is mandatory with names to be supplied on Branch Entries. Clubs will incur a fine if criteria is not met or clubs not compliant. All monies raised from Late Entries and Fines incurred will be held in trust for the 2012 & 2013 SCB Inter-branch Team. 1.7 2011/12 Sth Coast Branch Championships for Boats to be held in conjunction with the Illawarra Branch 1.8 Details regarding 2011/12 Sth Coast Branch Championships for Surfing will be confirmed. Expression of interest for co-ordinators & helpers are being sought. 1.8 Medals to be presented after each event.
