This includes food and drink deliveries. If you want additional information regarding any of the military branches Please see Mrs. Leedy in the College & Career Center.</p><p>5th ANNUAL OUT-OF-STATE COLLEGE FAIR Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 19th during both student lunches for our 5th Annual Out-of-State College Fair. This college fair will be attended by numerous out of state colleges & universities. There will be information tables set-up in the quad with college admission counselors there to answer your questions. Stop by and ask questions and learn more about each of these amazing institutions. </p><p>RJUHSD MILITARY ACADEMY NIGHT Our annual RJUHSD Military Academy Night will be held at Roseville High School this year and is open to all Oakmont students and their parents should they wish to attend. Here is an opportunity to hear more about each branch of the military and the requirements for entering into one of these prestigious academies. Interested students should mark their calendars for Tuesday, October 3rd from 6-8 PM @ Roseville High School.</p><p>JUNIORS FBI TEEN ACADEMY The FBI Teen Academy exposes students who attend to our careers, values and priorities; introduces the types of cases the FBI investigates; improves awareness of the hidden dangers of social media, online communication and more; inspires a desire for physical fitness; and encourages maintenance of a healthy lifestyle free of crime, drugs, gangs and violence. After attending, students are better prepared to serve as role models in their academic and social communities. This exciting experience will be offered to a limited number of students on Friday, November 17, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Roseville. For more information or an application please see Mrs. Leedy in the College and Career Center. Applications are due Thursday, October 12th. </p><p>SPECIAL EVENTS & ANNOUCEMENTS THEATER PERFORMANCE Come see the first Drama production of the year! Thursday evening the Oakmont Professional Drama Company will present "The Methods of the Masters," an Evening of One Acts celebrating the work of some of the greatest masters of theater. The show is at 7 pm on Thursday September 14, 2017 in the theater and tickets are only $5.</p><p>HURRICANE HARVEY SUPPLY DRIVE As many of you are aware the Houston area was significantly damaged by Hurricane Harvey. We have decided that helping one of the local schools would be the best way that we can directly help the teachers and students of that community. We have chosen Kingwood High School; the high school where Mr. Couture (Oakmont teacher) graduated from. Donations will start on Monday 9/18 and run through Friday 9/22. We are looking for the following supplies, Copy paper, Dry erase markers, Hand sanitizer, Post-it-notes, Pens, Pencils, Note cards, Staplers, Velcro strips, and any other general supplies are welcomed as well. Please drop off any donations to room 502.</p>
