David Youngs, Ashley Briggs, Andrew Woods and Mark Rolfe all won their matches in straight games while Gary Snelling came from 0-2 down to beat Vince Somers 3-2 in the fifth string match.</p><p>Bannatyne’s entertained The Bob Carter Centre and won 17-5 with Max Dawson and Kevin Harvey both winning 3-1 and Paul Gedge and Ali Dawson both winning in straight games. Liam Nolan who beat Jordan Creed 3-0 was the visitors’ one winner. Potters beat Broadland 14-7 as Paul Field and Jamie Goodrich both won in straight games and Rob Hambrook beat Steve Moxey 3-1. For Broadland Paul Atterton and Mark Thomas both won their matches 3-0.</p><p>North Walsham who were league champions back in 1989 are setting the pace in Division One and they made it four wins from five starts with an 18-7 victory over North Norfolk. Rob Whiting beat Ed Smith 3-2, both Roger Hannant and Tom Smith won 3-1 and Matt Sumner beat Martin Guppy 3-0. North Norfolk captain Tim Perry who beat Philip Slack 3-1 was his team’s one winner. Diss have also only lost once this season and they won 16-10 away to East Anglia III. James Ramm and Jack Bell both won 3-1 and Tom Bobbins came from 0-2 down to beat Hadleigh Farrer 5-9 8-10 9-4 9-4 9-3 in the first string match. For the beaten East Anglia team Pete Dean won in straight games and Matt Johnson beat Dan Calver 10-9 in the fifth.</p><p>Newly promoted Fakenham had a good 19-7 win at home to Barnham Broom II. Nick Fairbrother and Martin Jolley both won 3-1, Nick Todd-Hunter won 3-2 and at No.1 Adam Sinkins beat Stuart Sutton in straight games. Adam Goodson who won 3-2 was his team’s one winner.</p><p>Cromer remain top of Division Two despite a below strength team going down 18-4 to East Anglia V. Paul Harvey, Tim Lawes and Jonny Lawes all won in straight games while Chris Butler beat Henri Paul 3-1. Cromer’s one winner was Richard Keeble who beat Nick Stringer 3-1. Wensum Lodge, who have become the second club this season to move to Drayton and who will now be known as the Bob Carter Leisure Centre II won for the first time beating North Walsham II 15-8. Steve Cunningham and Tim Allenden both won in straight games and in a remarkable third string match Ian Pearson beat Rob Stimpson 10-8 in the fifth after being 0-8 down! David Attew and Philip Slack were Walsham’s two winners. For Bannatyne’s Matthew Green won 3-0, Anthony Baines won 3-1 and Gareth Jones came from 1-2 down to beat Mike Hill 3-2. Kevin Cooke and Richard Barnes were Broadland’s two winners.</p><p>In Division Three Potters II won their fifth successive match, beating Barnham Broom III 14-8. Darren Green and David Cook both won in straight games while Cliff High beat David Gear 3-2. Dean Goodrum and Stuart Bowes both won 3-0 for Barnham. UEA II beat Broadland Hunters 17-7 with Callum Pearson and David Barkwill both winning 3-1, Andy Keel winning 3-0 and Adam Morfakis beating John Munday 3-2. Andy Ford who won 3-0 was Broadland’s one winner. Fakenham II eased their way to a comfortable 20-2 victory away to Cromer II who have slipped to the bottom of the table. Martin Dack, Gary Hastings and Bruce Bushell all won in straight games while Steve Horn and Jason Smith both won 3-1.</p><p>Finally in Division Four the strong Oasis team beat Beccles Ladies 15-4 with Fergus Newman winning 3-1 and Ben Serruys and Mark Wilkinson both winning 3-0. Terry Brookes, who helped his ladies out, came from 0-2 down to beat John Milton 3-2. The Broadland mixed team beat UEA Mixed 15-5 with Mike Gallant and David Hare both winning 3-1 and Kevin Woodhouse winning in straight games.
