Candidates must be proficient in the following:</p><p> Basic spikeless trimming and removal techniques, and associated knots, etc.</p><p> Safety guidelines</p><p> Ability to identify most common tree types in MN (with and without leaves)</p><p> Experience in the operation of tree service equipment, including aerial bucket</p><p> Sharpening and using chain saws and other small tools of the industry. A clean driving record and a Class B with air license are mandatory. Class A with air is even more highly valued. Additionally, experience in crew management, teamwork, training, equipment maintenance, customer service and professionalism are desired. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, starting at $25/hour. For the special person who is an ISA Certified Arborist, spikeless trimmer, tree removal expert with at least a Class B with air license who also possesses leadership skills, the compensation will be closer to $30/hour.
