<p> Expression of Interest Learning and Wellbeing Officer Queanbeyan Education Office</p><p>Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity relieving in the position of Learning and Wellbeing Officer from 24 October 2016 to 20 December 2016. The position is located at the Queanbeyan Education Office</p><p>The Learning and Wellbeing Officer supports the delivery of a range of Learning and Wellbeing services and programs to enhance student wellbeing and to meet the needs of a diverse range of students, including Aboriginal students, students with disability and/or additional learning needs and those at risk of disengagement.</p><p>An expression of interest addressing the criteria, of no more than two A4 pages in length should be submitted to Sharon Gown, Relieving Learning and Wellbeing Coordinator, at [email protected] by 10am on Thursday 20 October 2016.</p><p>Information on meeting the definition of ‘recent school based experience’ is available here. https://detwww.det.nsw.edu.au/detresources/Recency-Rules-19October2015_hGjYniDPOm.pdf This information is only accessible from a DoE site (this would be relevant to NSBTS positions but not school based positions).</p><p>Selection criteria</p><p>Demonstrated successful teaching and recent school based experience with students with additional learning needs and/or those at risk of disengaging. </p><p>Sound knowledge and understanding of current Learning and Wellbeing policy and programs.</p><p>Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor Learning and Wellbeing service provisions and manage resource access.</p><p>High level interpersonal, oral and written communication and data management skills.</p><p>Proven ability to work collaboratively in teams.</p><p>Demonstrated commitment to the values of public education.</p><p>Knowledge of and commitment to the Department’s Aboriginal Education policies.</p><p>One of the referees listed must be the applicant’s current principal or supervisor for non-school-based staff.
