<p>Dear Parent or Guardian, We are delighted to inform you that as part of our ‘developing oracy’ project that we will be recording and publishing our very own Coleg Cymunedol Y Dderwen’s News Report. The ‘School News Report’ gives all pupils the chance to make news reports on the subjects that matter to them, their school and their community while learning useful new skills. By participating in the project, pupils may get the chance to work with in partnership with BBC staff of all levels including reporters, producers, editors, journalists, and engineers in making their reports. They may even get the opportunity to appear on BBC television, radio or online. They may be invited as a guest on a programme, involved in on-air discussions, or work on other forms of radio or television production. We appreciate your support and agreement that any child taking part in this project and the work they or others create or feature in (including video, audio or still images) may be used throughout the school and can appear on the schools youtube channel, which will contain all of the school reports.
