Moved to the neighborhood because his parents wanted to own a house. Discusses busing to various school from middle to high school.</p><p>2:25 Whites and blacks in his schools, but mostly blacks bused. Neighborhood was more black but almost a 50:50 race ratio when he moved in in 1968. Neighborhood consisted of families.</p><p>5:00 Friends lived in Clanton Park. People locked their doors at night even though crime was not a major issue in the neighborhood. Parents’ careers. </p><p>8:00 Garage added on to the house. House description. </p><p>9:00 Many in the neighborhood went to Galilee Baptist Church. His friend, Jan, was the son of the white preacher at the Zion Church and lived at the house next to the church.\</p><p>11:20 A few houses in the neighborhood torn down.
