Your Server Name May Not Automatcially Update If You Are Using Outlook 2003 In Cached Mode

<p> Server Update / Check Name</p><p>After moving to a new Microsoft Exchange server, your server name may not automatically update if you are using Outlook 2003 in cached mode. To update your server name, please do the following:</p><p>1. Go to Start →Settings→Control Panel. 2. Select Mail from the Control Panel. 3. Click the Show Profiles button from the Mail Setup window.</p><p>4. Select your user profile from the profile list in the Mail window. 5. Click the E-mail Accounts button from the Mail Setup window.</p><p>6. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next.</p><p>7. Highlight Microsoft Exchange Server and click the Change button. You may be prompted for your login credentials at this time. Enter your password and click OK. 8. Change the server name to VS4 and click the Check Name button.</p><p>9. You will be prompted to enter your login credentials. Enter your password and click OK. 10. Your name will now be underlined in the User Name field. Click Next. 11. Click Finish. 12. Close the Mail Setup window and click OK on the Mail windows. 13. You should now be able to open Outlook and login to your account.</p>
