From Sat 28 March – Sun 12 April visitors to the Museum can expect to hop straight into two weeks of mega egg hunts, competitions and boredom- busting crafts!</p><p>Take part in an epic Easter egg hunt across the Museum’s 26 acres, exploring shops and houses to solve clues. Get arty with some eggy craft activities, test your Easter knowledge and win a prize in our quiz or get hands-on in our ‘egg rolling’ competition. </p><p>Plus, as part of the Museum’s WWI Commemorations visitors can look out for costumed characters who are ready and waiting to tell all about the history of the humble egg in wartime Britain. Visit National Egg Collection stands for the wounded at the Museum where civilians from 1915 will be aiming to collect as many eggs as possible. During WWI, this scheme had sent over seven million eggs to hospitals at home and twenty five to those abroad.</p><p>Families will be able to discover the delights of playtime in the last century, banishing boredom with traditional street games including hopscotch and skipping.
