Colin Smalley, Cllr. Val Davies, Ex Officio Chairman Mike Curtis, Graham Golby, Derek Magson, David Murphy and Rev. Martin Short. Clerk; Kim Bedford</p><p>1. Apologies from members unable to be present: were received from Councillors; J Scarsbrook and M Moseley</p><p>2. Declarations of interest - none</p><p>3. Chairman’s Announcements - none</p><p>4. To approve the Minutes of the meeting on 3 March 2016, previously circulated, were approved and duly signed</p><p>5. Clerks report since the last meeting. The clerk informed the Board that the office suggested the frequency of the meetings should be every 2 months alternating with the F&GP committee, in order to enable more actions to be achieved by all. Agreed by all. Graham Golby reported on his work in resolving a query from MJ Taylor, using NAMM help and some frustrations. The clerk to write and seek a resolution whilst keeping MJ Taylor informed. The Board considered a spreadsheet produced by the clerk of priorities for the Board for the next year+. All agreed to review the various sites for ongoing maintenance requirements on a walkabout on Wednesday 27th at 11.00 am meet at the Church. The latest bench in the Churchyard was to be secured on a plinth by Derek Magson. </p><p>6. Veale Wasbrough Vizards Invoice. Letter has been sent we await a reply.</p><p>7. Flowering Trees: The offer of these was to be considered on the 27.04 in line with a policy document to be produced for future donation / installations. The Board felt very strongly there should be control and thought to future costs in setting out a policy and vision for these public areas</p><p>8. The piers at entry from Back Walls . Further damage was being inflicted to the repaired pillars. To review on 27/04.</p><p>9. Cemetery Wall. Damaged near the Fosse way. Quote has been requested from W Lockey. The Board requested the clerk investigate any prior contractual obligations alluded to. </p><p>10. Finance. A) To approve the quote for chain link boundary work of 02.03.16. The Board wish to confirm how many posts are required before approval. Check on 27/04</p><p>B) To consider the quote for work on the churchyard path. Review after 27/04 C) To consider the 2 quotes regarding work to the 2 parking areas near the cemeteries. These will incur considerable expenditure, and will be looked at on 27/04 </p><p>11. To consider an application for a headstone, outside the height restriction. After discussing the current and past regulations and considering the present arrangements, the clerk was requested to write to the correspondent giving information and permission. </p><p>12. Maintenance 2016. The Board agreed this will follow after 27/04 walkabout. </p><p>13. Items to be brought to the attention of the Burial Board.
