I fully understand that the activities of softball can result in serious injuries and that protective equipment does not prevent all injuries to players. I voluntarily assume all risk of personal injury, permanent disability, or death sustained while my child is participating in softball, including the risk of active or passive negligence of the release. I acknowledge and fully understand that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury and that social and economic losses may result not only from the player’s own actions, inactions or negligence, but also from the actions, inactions or negligence of others notwithstanding the rules of play or the condition of the premises and any equipment used. Risks associated with the activities of softball include but are not limited to tryouts, practice, league competition and travel. I acknowledge and full understand that there may be other risks not known or not reasonably foreseeable at this time. This agreement is in effect for the duration of the 2015-2016 softball season.</p>
