<p> MINUTES SEWER COMMISSION DECEMBER 19, 2016</p><p>The regular meeting of the Sewer Commission was called to order at 5:50 p.m. by Chairman Moore on Monday, December 19, 2016 in the Conference Room of the Department of Public Works located at 63 Canal Street in Holyoke.</p><p>Present were: David Moore, Chairman Kathleen Anderson, Commissioner Jose Garcia, Commissioner Michael McManus, General Superintendent Debra A. Reardon, Office Manager</p><p>Motion to approve and accept the Minutes of the previous meeting (12.05.16) made by Chairman Moore, seconded by Commissioner Anderson. 3-0</p><p>OLD BUSINESS (1) Master Plan – City Sewers/CSO Abatement Project</p><p>Nothing to report at this time.</p><p>This item will remain Tabled.</p><p>(2) Collections of Past Due Sewer Charges</p><p>Office Manager said collections have been great.</p><p>Gave 2016 Sewer Use Charge Lien for Commissioners to view. Total of 474 accounts equaling $384,458.56.</p><p>This item will remain Tabled.</p><p>(3) Suez Service Contract – Nothing to report at this time. </p><p>This item will remain Tabled.</p><p>(4) Environmental Protection Agency</p><p>The city had a meeting with the Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to discuss the current Administrative Order and potential Consent Decree. They would like a time line on our Combined Sewer Overflow Projects. They feel we have dragged our feet.
