<p> Romulator Instructions</p><p>1. Connect the Romulator to the serial cable and then connect the cable to the laptop serial port or USB port on the computer. 2. Open Romeditor, click FILE, SETTINGS, and click on the Emulation tab, and make sure that “Transtronics Romulator” is selected, and select the correct COM port. While here also select “Enable real-time update”. Load the ROM into Romeditor or create your base map at this time. 3. Connect the Romulator to the ECU with the red stripe closest to the wiring harness. 4. Turn the Ignition key to the ON position without turning on the car. 5. Hold down CTRL and press W (CTRL-U for Rumeditor 4) to upload the whole ROM. 6. Turn the key to the OFF position, and then back ON. At this time the LED on the interface box should be solid red (not flashing). 7. Start the car and begin tuning. </p>
