Today is an especially exciting day for the infants and Year 3 as they are looking at Jesus as the Light of our World and the Hindu festival of Diwali as part of ‘Light Day’, so lots of activities planned this week. In Year 4 the children are continuing with their weekly times table challenges and have been finding out facts about Christmas celebrations. Year 5 are also talking about Christmas and have started finding out about Christmas around the world as well as having of lots of exciting conversations about the solar system. Year 6 had an excellent trip to Eden Camp and their behaviour was reported as being impeccable by many of the leaders and volunteers who supported the trip. Microorganisms have been under attack too in Year 6 as Mrs Dempsey (a former parent) came to support learning about food hygiene.

Thank you to everyone who managed to come to parents’ evening last night. Next week our worship will focus upon ‘Standing on God’s promises’ – including the story of David & Goliath 1 Samuel 17.

As part of your parental feedback, we are trialling a way that you can let us know how your child has been ‘Living the Values’. On receipt of a ticket, either myself of someone from the Senior Leadership Team will celebrate their achievement with them.
