<p>G-Lader Removal G60 Corrado, Golf, Passat</p><p>Required tools: 10mm ¼” drive socket and ratchet ¼” socket drive extension 13mm 3/8” drive socket and ratchet 13mm wrench 14mm wrench 5mm Allen wrench 6mm Allen wrench Flat head screw driver</p><p>1) Remove air box by loosening hose clamp on rubber boot with your screw driver. Remove rubber elastic hold down bands with pliers. Also remove vacuum lines running to the air box. 2) Remove rubber intake boot from the g-lader using a 5 mm Allen wrench. 3) Compress belt tensioner: slip serpentine drive belt off of the g-lader drive pulley 4) Remove the boost hose running from the g-lader to the inter cooler by loosening the worm drive clamps with your screw driver. 5) Remove the boost return pipe from the return side of the g-lader using your 5mm Allen wrench. 6) Remove the four 10mm bolts from the part line of the plastic g-lader outlet box using your 10mm socket and drive with extension. Split the silencer box in half from the part line toward the engine block. Use care when splitting the silencer box as they can break easily. 7) Remove the remaining half of the silencer box from the g-lader using your 13mm socket with drive and extension 8) Remove the rear stabilizer bar from the outlet side of the g-lader, using your 13mm socket and drive. 9) Remove the two 6mm Allen head bolts from the outlet side of the blower which fasten through the main engine tail bracket mount. 10) Remove the engine tail bracket from the front of the engine by removing four 6mm Allen head bolts. 11) Remove the four 6mm Allen head bolt from the g-lader pulley drive side bracket. 12) The super charger is now free to move in the engine compartment. 13) Rotate the charger and remove the oil return line using your 14mm wrench 14) Rotate the charger and remove the oil feed line using your 13mm wrench 15) The charger is now free to finagle out of the engine compartment.</p>
