Attaching Your Position Placard

Attaching Your Position Placard

Attaching Your Position Placard

The Organization will be wearing position placards this year. It is very important that we place the placard in a standard position on the back of our shirts. This is a very important first impression item and we do not want to have this reduce our professionalism by wearing the placard incorrectly. The placard is to be centered on the back of your shirt 4 inches from the base of the collar. The placard should be placed so the black of the placard starts and finishes on a black stripe of the shirt. You may sew the placard on your shirt but if you are working the flank or deep positions you will need 4 shirts. Long and Short for H/L flanks, or S/F deep. We have provided attachment studs for you to place the placard. This will make the placard removable so you can move them from one shirt to another easily. If you need extra attachments they can be purchased at Jo Anne’s Fabric Supply, Item # 1880-76, nickel plated brass tie tack. After placing the placard with the studs you will need to blacken the silver stud with a black “Sharpie” pen to blend it to the placard.

Everyone must bring both placards with them to each game assignment. If someone does not have his/her placard, then the entire crew will not wear the placards. PLEASE do not mess this up for your crew!

We have put a lot of thought and money into supplying the position placards for the staff this year. We want this to have a positive impact on the professional approach and preparation of our game assignments. Thank you for your continued support of The Organization!

Dave/Dan
