<p>WEEKLY LESSON PLANS Teacher: Mrs. Watkins Week Of: 3/7-11/16 All Course of Study, Common Core, and Quality Core objectives as applicable should be referenced in this document. These objectives govern the development of all lessons at Lawrence County High School. Discuss the following rules with Homework:: students: a.Present participles always end with – ing; Past participles can end with –ed, -nt, -en, or –d.</p><p> b. Participles always act as adjectives, modifying nouns and pronouns. When a participle phrase appears at the beginning of a sentence, it is set off with a comma.</p><p> c. Participials phrases are made up of the participle, any modifiers and any object of the participle.</p><p>Pair students and have then identify participles and participial phrases.</p><p>Technology-particle and participial phrases on the computer.</p><p>Some students will teach participles to other students.
