(Luke 4:18-19, 22, 25-28) Jesus 1st message was a message of prosperity and healing. a. (3 John 2) Above all things prosper and be in health. b. (2 Cor. 8:9; Isa. 53:4-5) Jesus paid for prosperity and healing at the cross! c. Just like the Holy Communion is God-given secret for healing, tithing is a God-given secret for financial abundance.</p><p>B. The Tithe is a First-Fruit Principle 1. (Prov. 3:9-10 AMP; Rom. 11:16) What is tithing? Tithing is a first-fruit principle that sanctifies the whole. a. (Gen. 2:16-17) The tree of knowledge good and evil was a type of first-fruit. b. (Gen. 4:3-5) Cain brought an offering of fruit and Able brought the firstborn of his flock. c. (Josh. 6:18-19) God gives the Israelites the victory at Jericho.  Achan steals the tithe and they lose the battle of Ai (Josh. 7:11-12). d. (1 Kings 17:9-16) used to bring believers through famine. e. (Col. 1:12-18) Jesus is God’s First-fruit. C. The Tithe – God’s Secret for Your Prosperity 1. (Mal. 3:8-12) God doesn’t curse anyone! A curse is over the earth because of the Adam’s sin. This is the reason for the tithe.</p>
