Feel Free to Deck out Your Bike in Lights Too!

It is time to spread the Holiday cheer and see the holiday lights! Many homes were already decorated even before Thanksgiving Day and it looks to be a good year! The trip is about the journey and seeing the neighborhood the old-fashioned way--BY BICYCLE

Date: Wednesday December 21, 2016 Time: 7 pm Location: Zipps Sports Grill 3950 W Ray Rd (NE Corner at McClintock Rd) A map will be available!

Santa Claus is putting together the annual trek to see the lights to occupy his evening riding in early December. The area of emphasis will be south Tempe. After the ride, we can experience post ride libations for those so inclined. The Route will be about 15-20 miles, ALL FLAT. It is a slow pace with a look and see route. This is a joy ride!!! DRESS WARM as most will not get their heart rates up. AGAIN, DRESS WARM!!!!! AND FOR THE THIRD TIME, BECAUSE NO ONE LISTENS -- DRESS WARMLY. This means lots of body layers, layers of wool socks, and shoe covers. Include glove liners, gloves, and mittens as well. Heck, wear a face mask! Feel free to deck out your bike in lights too! As is now the custom there will be a stop for cookies and hot chocolate during the ride. There may also be some Schnapps! Please send total numbers of your group--but also specify number of kids please.
