What methods would you use to gain freedom? </p><p>SET: TSW share his/her Do Now. TTW discuss the dangerous perils of the African-American fight for equality and the role of the peaceful demonstration. </p><p>PROCEDURES: </p><p>A. Do Now (5 min)</p><p>B. Set (10 min)</p><p>C. TSW will view primary source taken from the march on Washington in 1963 and the march to Selma in 1965. (12 min)</p><p>What did you see that was very similar about the two marches? What did you see as different? Which march occurred first? Which march seemed to produce better results? What does the differences in the outcomes of the marches tell you about the state of America during the 1960’s? List a quote that Dr. King uses that tells whether African Americans would ever subject themselves to inequality again?</p><p>E. TTW discuss and review with the students (5 min)</p><p>F.
