<p>Greetings St. Mary families!</p><p>I hope you are settling into the school year routine. That first week is always a bit rough—for everyone! The SSO Officers look forward to a busy year with many activities to benefit the school and our community.</p><p>We welcome all of our new families joining us for the first time, and all the families that return to St. Mary. In addition to many new teachers and staff, the year ahead will continue to expand opportunities for enrichment and provide gatherings for families and parents.</p><p>Welcome Back Playground Party Thanks to all of the families that enjoyed the Cornerstone PlayLab playground and popsicles the afternoon before school started. It is always a nice way to chat before things are back in full swing.</p><p>Orientation Night Raffle Winners Thanks to Jamie Durstine and Monica Watson for all of their help coordinating Orientation Night.</p><p>Congrats to the winner of the raffles for all that completed their forms on Orientation Night. SSO is happy to provide the following items: Packet of 20 full lunch tokens—Jamie Durstine $40 certificate for spirit wear—Regan Meier</p><p>Save the Dates: School Support Organization (SSO) Meetings are held in the School Library from 7-8 pm. All parents are welcomed to hear about plans for the year and volunteer when possible. Information is sent out after the meeting for those unable to attend.</p><p>September 26 October 24 November 28 No meeting in December</p><p>Second semester dates will be determined in December.</p><p>Parent Socials An opportunity to leave the kids at home and meet and mingle with other St. Mary parents. Parent Socials are being planned and information is forthcoming.</p><p>What can we do better? Is there a playground item that would be a great addition? Do you know of a speaker or presenter that the students would enjoy? Do you have a skill or talent you would like to share? What would you add to the school?
