<p> Year 12 AS PE Summer Tasks London 2012 Research Task</p><p>Your summer task is to collect evidence from the London 2012 Games. This information will be referred to throughout the year and will really help to gain an understanding of the topics and issues we will be looking at in September.</p><p>Evidence collected could include;  TV programmes  Newspaper articles  Web pages  Photos / images</p><p>Discrimination in sport Research the Paralympics - look at role models, media coverage and the role of disability sport England in promoting sporting opportunities.</p><p>Moments of interest During the Olympics there will be several significant events / incidences eg. Drug testing, cheating, national euphoria due to GB’s success etc. Record these types of programmes / clips and save the relevant newspaper articles.</p><p>Sporting examples Collect evidence of a lot different sporting examples. These will be used when applying the theory in lessons. The more varied your clips are, eg. Not all football, the easier it will be for you in September.</p>
