<p> ACT Aeromodellers Association Incorporated ABN 58 449 580 984 PO Box 1519 FYSHWICK ACT 2609</p><p>MINUTES ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING Wednesday 24th August 2011 - 7:30pm Canberra Irish Club, Parkinson Street, Weston, ACT </p><p>ATTENDANCE: Brian Malaquin, Doug Williams, Jeremy Muir, Graham Parkins(Vice Pres), Aaron Clark, Timmy Crofts, Kent Jorgensen, Peter Churchill, Terry Donnell, Risto Petreski, John Ellis, Paul Sanders, Greg Lance(Treasurer), Anthony Robinson(President), Geoff Kemp(Sectretary), . Apologies: Grant Mainwaring All attendees are current financial members. </p><p>The President, Anthony Robinson, welcomed everyone and thanked them for their attendance and thanked the out-going committee for their efforts thought the year. The Secretary, Geoff Kemp, gave a report and stated that the membership of the ACTAA for FY10- 11 was a little over 300 and currently we have 258 members in seven clubs of which 39 are instructors and 168 have a wings rating. These numbers are in line with last year’s numbers and will probably be similar to FY10-11 by the end of FY11-12. </p><p>1. Confirm the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting. The minutes of the meeting were read by the Secretary Geoff Kemp. Acceptance of the Minutes was Moved: Brian Malaquin, Seconded: Dug Williams, Carried.</p><p>2. Consider the Audited Accounts. The Treasurer, Mr Greg Lance, read the audited accounts of 2010-2011 Financial Year. After reviewing the accounts (as per attached), It was Moved: Graham Parkins Seconded Paul Saunders Carried.</p><p>3. The President declared all committee positions vacant and handed the chair to the returning officer, Brian Malaquin. 4. Elect the Executive The returning officer presented the nominations and conducted the elections as follows: President: A written nomination was received for Mr Anthony Robinson. Anthony Robinson was re-elected President unopposed.</p><p>Vice President: A written nomination was received for Mr Graham Parkins. Mr Graham Parkins was re-elected Vice President unopposed.</p><p>Secretary: A written nomination was received for Mr Geoff Kemp. Mr Geoff Kemp was re-elected Secretary unopposed.</p><p>Treasurer: A written nomination was received for Mr Greg Lance. Mr Greg Lance was re-elected Treasurer unopposed for 2010-11.</p><p>Public Officer: Greg Lance. Safety Officer: In the absence of nominations Steve Grzeskowiak was re- appointed as Safety Officer. Steve to confirm.</p><p>Chief Flying Instructor: A written nomination was received for Kent Jorgenson and for Fred Lambert. Kent was elected to the position by a show of hands.</p><p>In his absence Fred Lambert was thanked from the floor and the chair for his service to the ACTAA as especially in his role as CFI. </p><p>Education Officer: An expression of interest was received from Blair Perry.</p><p>Web Master: Doug Williams agreed he would continue keeping the site up to date.</p><p>The meeting closed at 8:09 PM.</p><p>Geoff Kemp, Secretary ACT Aeromodellers Association Inc. </p>
