<p> 2016 - State Category Award Synopsis</p><p>Award of Excellence Rajasthan Rajasthan is aggressively moving on the path of being the IT hub of India. ICT is now central to the way Rajasthan Government operates and delivers Citizen services through 35,000 e-Mitra Kendras. Rajasthan has best in class ICT infrastructure and Video Conferencing facilities reaching to the Panchayat level. RajNet, Raj Swan, Raj Sewa Dwar, Raj Dhara, Raj e-vault, Raj e-sign, ifact, Raj e-office, and e-Sanchar are ensuring a highly futuristic Decision support Systems for the state. </p><p>Telangana Since States inception in 2014, Telangana has been quick to jump onto e-Gov band wagon. Digital empowerment to common man requires robust IT infrastructure. Telangana fiber grids, City wi-fi project, Digital literacy program, TS-Class are a few of the initiatives in this direction. Expansions of MeeSeva, Verifast, MaaBhoomi, RTA M- Wallet, Mineral e-Permit are a few of the citizen centric key initiatives undertaken in the recent past. Gaming and Animation, Cyber Security, T-Hub etc are new initiatives on the horizon. </p><p>Award of Recognition - Progressive State Odisha Odisha has been following a methodical approach by preparing ICT policy, e-Gov Road Map, IT procurement procedures etc. Odisha State has created OSWAN, OSDC, CSC, SSDG to provide inter-operability and exchange of data across multiple government applications. Some of the successful applications are Student Academic Management System (SAMS), e-Dharani, iOTMS, VATIS, e-District, e-Municipality, e-Procurement, i3MS etc.</p><p>Award of Recognition - NE States Nagaland This is the right time to take the state of Nagaland to the next higher level and make the state “Land of e-Governance”. Nagaland is now occupying a unique position in the IT core Infrastructure development in NE region. New IT policy is being revised and Dept of IT & C has prepared a Vision 2030 document. Nagaland is the first state to launch National Information Infrastructure project in Peren. Nagaland ICT outlay of Rs 20.46 Cr has been fully utilised for the purpose it was intended.</p><p>***</p>
