Beam, Inc. is the apparent low bidder. Per the bidding documents you must submit to Wake County either form MBE-4 or MBE-5 regarding the participation of minority business on this project within seventy-two (72) hours of this notice. Please review the "Instructions to Bidders" within the bid specifications for further information.</p><p>This project is scheduled to be reviewed by the Wake County Board of Commissioners at their next meeting February 7, 2005. At that meeting the Board will decide whether to award the project to J.D. Beam, Inc. to the amount of the base bid of One Million, Fifty Five Thousand Dollars ($1,055,000.00). We will notify you immediately of the Board's decision.</p><p>In an effort to expedite the processing of contracts, should you be awarded this project, attached are four copies of the proposed contract for your review. Please be prepared to execute this contract, including performance and payment bonds, upon notification from the County.</p><p>In accordance with the Instructions to Bidders issued with the bidding documents, provide insurance certificates as specified in the General Conditions naming the Owner, the Architect and the Architect's Consultants as additional insured. Return four (4) originals to this office within ten (10) days of notification. Failure to do so may result in forfeit of your bid bond, which was provided as security to assure compliance with these requirements.</p><p>You are required to develop a CPM schedule and submit this schedule to the County for approval within Fifteen (15) days from notification of award.
