<p>CRUELTY TO HOMELESS CATS IS ILLEGAL/up to $5,000 Reward</p><p>AHS & Silent Witness Help Abused Cats</p><p>Cats that are victims of abuse by humans will now get help in the form of a phone call. The Arizona Humane Society has teamed up with Silent Witness so those humans who witness a case of abuse against a feline can report it. </p><p>Humans with information regarding another human mistreating or abusing a cat can call 480-WITNESS. If the information also leads to the arrest and conviction of the person, the AHS & Silent Witness will pay up to a $5,000 reward to the individual that reported incident. PROTECT FERAL CATS, TOO Penalties: Persons violating Arizona Revised Statute 13-2910, Cruelty to animals, by harming feral cats are guilty of a Class 6 Felony or a Class 1 Misdemeanor.
