<p>April 1, 2014</p><p>Gateway to Better Health Providers: </p><p>In recognition of the start up of the Gateway program, the State has temporarily relaxed its timely filing edit for Gateway to Better Health (GBH) claims. Providers may resubmit claims that have been denied for timely filing. All of these old claims must be submitted by June 30, 2014. After June 30, 2014, the State will no longer make any exceptions to the timely filing edit.</p><p>Beginning July 1, 2014, providers will have one year to get the original claim through Gateway EDI to the State, otherwise claims will deny for timely filing per the provider manual.</p><p>Additionally, the State has updated the once-in-a-lifetime edit. GBH providers can begin the process of voiding and resubmitting claims that have denied for that reason.</p><p>Please note that these updates relate to Gateway to Better Health claims only and not any other MO Healthnet program.
