<p> June 20, 2011</p><p>TO: Operational Charter Schools</p><p>FROM: Carly Bolger, Director Office of Charter Schools</p><p>SUBJECT: 2011 Annual Report</p><p>In accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:36A:16(b) and N.J.A.C. 6A:11-2.2, the board of trustees of each charter school is required to submit an annual report, approved by a majority of the members of the board of trustees, which is due no later than 4 :15 p.m. on August 1 following each full school year of operation. Reports are due no later than 4:15 on August 1, 2011. Failure to submit the report on time will result in the charter school being required to submit a corrective action plan.</p><p>Please send three (3) copies of your report to the New Jersey Department of Education, Office of Charter Schools, 100 River View Plaza, P.O. Box 500, Trenton, New Jersey 08625-0500, Attention: Annual Charter School Report 2011. In addition, a completed report should be emailed as a .pdf attachment to [email protected]. A copy must also be submitted to the respective county superintendent of schools and the district(s) board of education or state operated school district(s) of residence.</p><p>In addition, please be advised that all schools are now required to maintain lottery and waiting list information on an Excel spreadsheet showing each child’s name, date of birth and current school.
