<p> Request for Bid Art Panels Cherokee Roland Casino – Roland, OK</p><p>Summary Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB) is accepting bids for original art to display as art panels within the newly constructed Cherokee Roland Casino in Roland, Oklahoma. </p><p>LA 25-05 requires all Cherokee Nation construction and/or renovation projects $500,000+ to set aside 1% of the total project cost for the procurement of culturally appropriate art. The use of these funds allows the Cherokee Nation to share our rich history, culture and heritage through visual art.</p><p>CNB only accepts bids from Cherokee Nation citizens who can provide identification as such and artists previously designated Cherokee National Treasures.</p><p>Description CNB invites artists to submit bids for art panels for the Cherokee Roland Casino in Roland, Oklahoma. The committee will consider original flat art related to Cherokee history, culture and heritage. </p><p>The committee will select a work that features historic Sequoyah County. Potential concepts may include community settlements, waterways and landscapes, salt mines, and notable buildings. While the focus should not feature historical figures, the committee will consider bids of other sketches that highlight the cultural history of Sequoyah County. </p><p>One selected work will be featured in a series of five (5) individual wall-length panels that are each 3’ width by 8’ height. An example of this display is provided in the attachment.</p><p>The provided dimension is for one individual panel.</p><p>8’ </p><p>3’ Bids must include project costs, format, and/or materials. Digital submissions are acceptable.</p><p>Bid Information and Deadlines Given the large-scale nature of this project, CNB will consider sketches before awarding a bid. Talia will notify artists shortly thereafter.</p><p>Final Art Deadline: Friday, April 17, 2015 by 5:00 Delivery or CNE location to be determined with artist.</p><p>Invoices are due at the time of delivery.
