The Cities of Gainesville and Ocala, Florida (the “Cities”) filed a Motion for Extension of Time (“Motion”) to file a response to the Petition for Special Relief (“Petition”) in the above-captioned matter filed by CoxCom, Inc. d/b/a Cox Communications, on behalf of its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Cities state that because of scheduled meeting dates for the City Commission and City Counsel for both cities they will be unable to respond by the April 20, 2005, deadline. Furthermore, because of scheduling conflicts of legal counsel retained by the cities, counsel will not be available until after the second week in May. Therefore, the cities request an extension of time until May 24, 2005. The cities request is granted, the Cities response to CoxCom Communications Petition will be due on or before 24 May, 2005. CoxCom’s reply will be due 10 days thereafter.</p><p>2. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Motion for Extension of Time filed by the Cities of Gainesville, and Ocala, Florida in the above-captioned proceeding IS GRANTED to the extent indicated herein.</p><p>3.
